About me
I’m Yashaswin Dineth Bamunusingha, and I am a passionate individual with a multifaceted life journey that reflects my deep love for science, technology, creative designing and wildlife conservation.
Educational Background:
I am currently pursuing an BSc Natural Sciences degree at the Open University of Sri Lanka, where my studies focus on physics, computer science, and zoology. This academic foundation has allowed me to delve into the worlds of science and technology, and to harness that knowledge for the betterment of our environment.
During my schooling at Mahinda Rajapaksha College – Homagama, I specialized in the biological stream for my Advanced Levels. Beyond academics, I actively engaged in various extracurricular pursuits that shaped my leadership and creative skills. I held pivotal roles, serving as the President of the Photographic Art Society and Chief Editor of the school’s monthly magazine. Additionally, as a prefect, I honed my leadership abilities, contributing significantly to fostering a positive and vibrant school environment.
I further channeled my creative energies into organizing school events, playing an integral part as a theme designer and media coordinator. These experiences not only enhanced my organizational skills but also allowed me to infuse creativity into our school’s events, leaving a lasting impact

I am a talented artist and graphic designer offering freelance services and collaborating with various companies to meet their design needs. My work goes beyond traditional graphic design; I infuse artistic elements into my creations, elevating them beyond the ordinary.
My specialty lies in embedding nature’s beauty seamlessly into my designs, making it a signature theme. I am known for crafting visually compelling designs that incorporate nature aspects as a central theme. Currently, I’m a Print Designer at GLD Printshop , specializing in Offset Print-related designs like booklets, magazines, flyers, labels, and packaging and a Product Designer and Digital Marketing Specialist at SaveOn Enterprises.
My unique approach blends artistic creativity with graphic design principles, allowing me to produce designs that capture the essence of the natural world while meeting the practical requirements of each project. This fusion of artistry and design delivers visually captivating and conceptually meaningful creations.
Additionally, I explore the world of digital art and indulge in wildlife photography as fulfilling hobbies. These pursuits allow me to capture the beauty of nature and share it with the world. In recognition of my talent, I have obtained several awards in the field of Photography as well as Cinematography.

One of my driving forces is the desire to contribute to wildlife conservation and promote environmental awareness. With my multidisciplinary background in physics, computer science, and zoology, I am equipped with a unique skill set to address challenges at the intersection of science and technology in the realm of wildlife conservation. I am currently an active member of the ZooNet Society, the official Zoology Society of The Open University of Sri Lanka, where I support their conservation efforts with my creative skills, working towards a better future for our wildlife and environment.
